- Serve this traditional restaurant-style dessert in individual dishes or family style. Add flavouring to custard mix to create unique trending desserts. Try Dr. Oetker Professional Crème Caramel Banana – layer sliced bananas on the caramel sauce before pouring in custard – or add cooked rice, cinnamon and raisins to the prepared custard before allowing the Crème Caramel to set.
- 1. Pour Caramel Sauce into individual custard cups.
- 2. Mix contents of bag (1 kg) with 2 L (8 cups) of milk to make a smooth paste.
- 3. Heat 4.75 L (19 cups) of milk to boiling over medium heat.
- 4. Stir in custard mixture.
- 5. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a rolling boil.
- 6. Remove from heat. Let stand 1 minute.
- 7. Pour carefully over caramel sauce in dishes.
- 8. Chill until cool and set, about 2 hours.
- 9. To serve, loosen edge with a knife and turn out onto dessert dish.
