Preparation and Cooking Instructions
  • Gluten Free Pancakes:
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Gluten Free Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • STIR ingredients until blended.
  • POUR slightly less than 1/4 cup onto hot greased griddle.
  • COOK until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden.
  • Makes 10 pancakes
  • Gluten Free Waffles:
  • 1 1/3 cups (325 mL) Gluten Free Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 1/4 cups (300 mL) milk
  • 3 tbsp (45 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • STIR ingredients until blended.
  • POUR onto centre of hot greased waffle maker; close lid.
  • BAKE about 5 min or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle.
  • Makes 8 (4-inch/10 cm) waffles
  • Gluten Free Biscuits:
  • 2 cups (500 mL) Gluten Free Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) shortening
  • 2/3 cup (150 mL) milk
  • 3 eggs
  • HEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • CUT shortening into mix, using fork, until particles are size of small peas. Stir in remaining ingredients until soft dough forms.
  • DROP by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • BAKE 13-16 min or until golden brown.
  • Makes 10 biscuits
