Mei Loi Mai white rice is a top grade milled white rice with maximum 4% broken kernels. The rice has a long slender grain, with translucent white colour when uncooked. It has a clean smell, slightly nutty, and a typical rice flavor. The rice has a pearl white appearance and cooks fluffy every time. The texture is moist, soft and slightly sticky. Suitable for steamed rice, fried rice and rice pudding.

- Step 1: Bring water or stock to boil.
- Step 2: Stir in rice, salt and butter (if desired). (1 lb rice to 1.18 l of liquid, 1 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp butter)
- Step 3: Cover with a tight fitting lid. Cook over low heat until most of the liquid is absorbed (about 20 minutes).
- Step 4: Remove from heat. Transfer immediately to shallow pan(s). Fluff with a fork.
