- Gluten Free Pancakes:
- 1 cup (250 mL) Gluten Free Bisquick™ mix
- 1 cup (250 mL) milk
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- STIR ingredients until blended.
- POUR slightly less than 1/4 cup onto hot greased griddle.
- COOK until edges are dry. Turn; cook until golden.
- Makes 10 pancakes
- Gluten Free Waffles:
- 1 1/3 cups (325 mL) Gluten Free Bisquick™ mix
- 1 1/4 cups (300 mL) milk
- 3 tbsp (45 mL) vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- STIR ingredients until blended.
- POUR onto centre of hot greased waffle maker; close lid.
- BAKE about 5 min or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle.
- Makes 8 (4-inch/10 cm) waffles
- Gluten Free Biscuits:
- 2 cups (500 mL) Gluten Free Bisquick™ mix
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) shortening
- 2/3 cup (150 mL) milk
- 3 eggs
- HEAT oven to 400°F (200°C).
- CUT shortening into mix, using fork, until particles are size of small peas. Stir in remaining ingredients until soft dough forms.
- DROP by spoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- BAKE 13-16 min or until golden brown.
- Makes 10 biscuits
