- Drape over eggs benedict, an omelet or a breakfast poutine or pizza. Pour over a piece of fish or steamed vegetables. Use as a mother sauce to create derivatives, such as a Bearnaise or Bavarian sauce. Replace butter and eggs in recipes for muffins and cakes.

- Cold or Hot* Water: 4 L
- Add mix to 3/4 of the water, stirring vigorously with a whisk. Add the remaining water, stirring. Heat and then hold above 65°C (150°F). Stir before serving.
- *>65°C/150°F
- For a creamier more buttery sauce add 450 g (2 cups) melted salted butter.
