• Calrose rice is a premium quality US No 1 grade milled rice grown in California. The rice has a medium length full width grain with a translucent colour when uncooked. When cooked, the rice tends to be soft and sticks together making it ideal for sushi, rice bowls, risotto, mansaf, and mahshi.

• Ideal for sushi, rice bowls, risotto, mansaf, and mahshi.

• Step 1: Bring water or stock to boil.
• Step 2: Stir in rice, salt and butter (if desired). (1 lb rice to 1.18 l of liquid, 1 tbsp salt, 2 tbsp butter)
• Step 3: Cover with a tight fitting lid. Cook over low heat until most of the liquid is absorbed (about 20 minutes).
• Step 4: Remove from heat. Transfer immediately to shallow pan(s). Fluff with a fork.
